Nutri-Grain IronMan
The final rounds of the 2023/24 Nutri-Grain IronMan and IronWoman Series, will be held at Kurrawa Beach, QLD.
The Specialist is four separate four to five minute races, one for each discipline of swim, board, ski and run. At the conclusion of the four separate races, the final IronMan/IronWoman race will be conducted with a staggered start commencing from the finish arch. The athlete ranked 1st after the four Specialist races will start on ‘GO’ with the remaining athletes then undertaking a handicap start in sequential order in accordance to their ranking.
Survival is three separate, 12-minute long Iron races starting with 20 competitors, with the last six finishers in each race eliminated, until eight are left in the final race. There is a thrilling 3-minute countdown between each race.

Phoenix Gold Coast Triathlon
The Pho3nix Kids Gold Coast Triathlon on Saturday 6th April is a FREE fun, participation based non-competitive event. Bike / Run, Swim / Run and Fun Run options also available. Each child will receive a t-shirt, swimming cap and finishers medal.
The Pho3nix Gold Coast Triathlon – Luke Harrop Memorial on Sunday 7th April has long been known as the triathlon for triathletes – if there is one race on the calendar not to miss, this is it. We can’t wait to showcase our beautiful Broadwater venue.

Gold Coast Swim Week
Gold Coast Swim Week is a week-long celebration of swimming with ocean swims and leading coaches and special guests hosting clinics and training sessions along Gold Coast beaches and pools.
The 14th annual Cooly Classic Ocean Swim will open the program on April 14. This is the Gold Coast’s largest ocean swimming event, with swims from 1.0km to 5.0km starting at Snapper Rocks. It attracts a huge range of abilities, from past and present Olympians to the general public of all ages, including age categories from 8 to 70+ years.

Cooly Rocks On
Celebrating the motors, music and lifestyle of yesteryear, Cooly Rocks On is back from 5-9 June 2024.
With many free and ticketed entertainment options across the action-packed five-day festival, make the most of your festival experience with the official festival app.
Featuring one of Australia’s best Show ‘N’ Shine displays, the festival showcases an impressive collection of hot rods, kustom vehicles, lowbrow art and more. As for the music, some of the best rock ‘n’ roll, swing, rockabilly and tribute artists from around the world will take to the stage throughout the festival. From artists like The Go Getters (SWE), Boom! Boom! Deluxe (NZ), Johnny Pandora (JPN) and more, to world-renowned international Elvis Tribute Artists like Shawn Klush (USA) and Jimmy Holmes (USA), a good boogie won’t be hard to find!
Cooly Rocks On is also one of two festivals held in Australia to host an official preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, with the winner heading straight to Elvis Week in Memphis, USA. The annual Cooly Rocks Pin-up Pageant is another festival favourite and if you’re in need of some retro goods and memorabilia, make sure to check out the Nostalgia Markets on the Coolangatta beachfront.

Gold Coast Marathon
This world-class event, Australia’s favourite holiday marathon is staged annually on Queensland’s Gold Coast. This internationally famous event features a fast and flat course that follows the magnificent Gold Coast Broadwater, the golden beaches of the Gold Coast from Main Beach to Burleigh Heads. It starts and finishes in the iconic Southport Broadwater Parklands.
Featuring eight races over two days, this event has appeal for runners of all abilities, including two kilometres and four kilometres junior dash events, the five-kilometre Fun Run, and the ten kilometre Run, the Half Marathon (21.1kilometres) and the Gold Coast Marathon (42.195 kilometres).
Seasoned runners can combine events and complete one race on Saturday and another on Sunday.

Pan Pacific Masters Games

Thousands of participants from all over the globe will converge on the Gold Coast to participate in the Asia-Pacific’s biggest annual masters games.
